Puducherry, dated the 12th November, 2021

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Puducherry.
