GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The production of plastic packaging by producers of plastic packaging under the Kerala Forest Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Environmental Engineer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every producer of plastic packaging carrying on the production of plastic packaging shall furnish Form V to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every producer of plastic packaging carrying on the production of plastic packaging shall make an application in Form V to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the production of plastic packaging is undertaken, and the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Kerala.
