Chennai, dated the 27th September, 2021

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The carrying on of a trade by persons carrying on a trade within the municipal limits under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Building Inspector, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits carrying on the carrying on of a trade shall furnish Form C to the Town Vending Committee within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits carrying on the carrying on of a trade shall make an application in Form C to the Town Vending Committee within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a trade is undertaken, and the Town Vending Committee shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
