GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall furnish Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
