GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Surveyor, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall furnish Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
