GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The receipt and payment of Government moneys by treasuries under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Audit Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every treasury carrying on the receipt and payment of Government moneys shall furnish Form GFR 12-A to the Finance Commission within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every treasury carrying on the receipt and payment of Government moneys shall make an application in Form GFR 12-A to the Finance Commission within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt and payment of Government moneys is undertaken, and the Finance Commission shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
