GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Survey Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall furnish Form G to the Board within three hundred and sixty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form G to the Board within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a religious fair is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
