GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The business of a travel agent by travel agents under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every travel agent carrying on the business of a travel agent shall furnish Form F to the Registrar within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every travel agent carrying on the business of a travel agent shall make an application in Form F to the Registrar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a travel agent is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
