GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of defence works by contractors for defence works under the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Provost Marshal, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall furnish Form B to the Director-General within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall make an application in Form B to the Director-General within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of defence works is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
