GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Charity Commissioner, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall furnish Form A to the Government of Odisha within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Odisha within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of waqf property is undertaken, and the Government of Odisha shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Odisha.
