GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Employment in an industry by workmen under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Conciliation Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every workman carrying on employment in an industry shall furnish Form II to the Chief Inspector within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every workman carrying on employment in an industry shall make an application in Form II to the Chief Inspector within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which employment in an industry is undertaken, and the Chief Inspector shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
