GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The service of process by process servers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Taxing Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every process server carrying on the service of process shall furnish Form G to the Bar Council within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every process server carrying on the service of process shall make an application in Form G to the Bar Council within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the service of process is undertaken, and the Bar Council shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
