GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The drawing of water from a river by riparian owners under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Ground Water Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every riparian owner carrying on the drawing of water from a river shall furnish Form F to the Government of Rajasthan within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every riparian owner carrying on the drawing of water from a river shall make an application in Form F to the Government of Rajasthan within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the drawing of water from a river is undertaken, and the Government of Rajasthan shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan.
