GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The leasing of a village tank by lessees of a village tank under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Panchayat Inspector, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall furnish Form 6 to the Gram Sabha within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application in Form 6 to the Gram Sabha within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the leasing of a village tank is undertaken, and the Gram Sabha shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
