GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The carriage of goods for hire by owners of a goods carriage under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Motor Vehicles Inspector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a goods carriage carrying on the carriage of goods for hire shall furnish Form 30 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a goods carriage carrying on the carriage of goods for hire shall make an application in Form 30 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carriage of goods for hire is undertaken, and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
