GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a private market by operators of a private market under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Health Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall furnish Form C to the Development Authority within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall make an application in Form C to the Development Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a private market is undertaken, and the Development Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Gujarat.
