GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The holding of a fair by licensees of a fair under the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall furnish Form 6 to the Block Development Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall make an application in Form 6 to the Block Development Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a fair is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
