New Delhi, dated the 21st April, 2019

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a dam in an emergency by operators of a dam under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Relief Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall furnish Form A to the Civil Defence Controller within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall make an application in Form A to the Civil Defence Controller within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a dam in an emergency is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
