Chandigarh, dated the 5th April, 2019

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a cold storage by operators of a cold storage under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Insecticide Inspector, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a cold storage carrying on the running of a cold storage shall furnish Form D to the Insecticides Board within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a cold storage carrying on the running of a cold storage shall make an application in Form D to the Insecticides Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a cold storage is undertaken, and the Insecticides Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Punjab.
