New Delhi, dated the 22nd January, 2019

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 2 to the Settlement Officer within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Settlement Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
