GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a firing range by licensees of a firing range under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Garrison Engineer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall furnish Form C to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall make an application in Form C to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a firing range is undertaken, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
