GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall furnish Form 14 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Punjab.
