GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Incident Commander, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall furnish Form E to the Civil Defence Controller within one day.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form E to the Civil Defence Controller within one day, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a hazardous installation is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within one day of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra.
