Mumbai, dated the 15th October, 2018

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sinking of a tube well by owners of a tube well under the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Ground Water Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a tube well carrying on the sinking of a tube well shall furnish Form E to the Board within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a tube well carrying on the sinking of a tube well shall make an application in Form E to the Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a tube well is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Maharashtra.
