GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The temporary care of a child by a fit person by fit persons under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Anganwadi Supervisor, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every fit person carrying on the temporary care of a child by a fit person shall furnish Form VIII to the Juvenile Justice Board within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every fit person carrying on the temporary care of a child by a fit person shall make an application in Form VIII to the Juvenile Justice Board within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the temporary care of a child by a fit person is undertaken, and the Juvenile Justice Board shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
