GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The bottling of water by bottlers of water under the Karnataka Irrigation Act, 1965, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Engineer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bottler of water carrying on the bottling of water shall furnish Form B to the Government of Karnataka within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bottler of water carrying on the bottling of water shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Karnataka within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the bottling of water is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Karnataka.
