GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Inspector of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall furnish Form E to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form E to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
