GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The execution of works for a Panchayat by contractors engaged by a Panchayat under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor engaged by a Panchayat carrying on the execution of works for a Panchayat shall furnish Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor engaged by a Panchayat carrying on the execution of works for a Panchayat shall make an application in Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of works for a Panchayat is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
