GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of poisons by licensees for the sale of poisons under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Controller of Explosives, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee for the sale of poisons carrying on the sale of poisons shall furnish Form VII to the Commissioner of Police within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee for the sale of poisons carrying on the sale of poisons shall make an application in Form VII to the Commissioner of Police within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of poisons is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Police shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
