GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a child care institution by child care institutions under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintendent of the Home, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every child care institution carrying on the running of a child care institution shall furnish Form II to the Local Complaints Committee within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every child care institution carrying on the running of a child care institution shall make an application in Form II to the Local Complaints Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a child care institution is undertaken, and the Local Complaints Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
