GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers under the Goa Excise Duty Act, 1964, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Inspector, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall furnish Form H to the Excise Commissioner within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall make an application in Form H to the Excise Commissioner within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Goa.
