GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall furnish Form A to the Commissioner of Endowments within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form A to the Commissioner of Endowments within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of donations for a charity is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Endowments shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
