GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The treatment of sewage by operators of a sewage treatment plant under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Engineer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a sewage treatment plant carrying on the treatment of sewage shall furnish Form F to the Ground Water Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a sewage treatment plant carrying on the treatment of sewage shall make an application in Form F to the Ground Water Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the treatment of sewage is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan.
