GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a fishing vessel by owners of a fishing vessel under the Maharashtra Maritime Board Act, 1996, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Harbour Master, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall furnish Form 7 to the Director-General within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall make an application in Form 7 to the Director-General within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a fishing vessel is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Maharashtra.
