GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 2 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 2 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
