GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of an estate by administrators of an estate under the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Marriages, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every administrator of an estate carrying on the administration of an estate shall furnish Form V to the District Registrar within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every administrator of an estate carrying on the administration of an estate shall make an application in Form V to the District Registrar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of an estate is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Karnataka.
