GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The transport of explosives by transporters of explosives under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Police, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transporter of explosives carrying on the transport of explosives shall furnish Form I to the District Magistrate within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of explosives carrying on the transport of explosives shall make an application in Form I to the District Magistrate within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of explosives is undertaken, and the District Magistrate shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
