GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall furnish Form 1 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 1 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Odisha.
