GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of a cinema by operators of a cinema within the municipal limits under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a cinema within the municipal limits carrying on the running of a cinema shall furnish Form G to the Town Planning Authority within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a cinema within the municipal limits carrying on the running of a cinema shall make an application in Form G to the Town Planning Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a cinema is undertaken, and the Town Planning Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
