GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The clearance of goods for import or export by customs house agents under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Authorised Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every customs house agent carrying on the clearance of goods for import or export shall furnish Form ANF-4A to the Board of Approval within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every customs house agent carrying on the clearance of goods for import or export shall make an application in Form ANF-4A to the Board of Approval within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the clearance of goods for import or export is undertaken, and the Board of Approval shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
