GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Guard, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall furnish Form G to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form G to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of West Bengal.
