GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The operation of a lift irrigation scheme by owners of a lift irrigation scheme under the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Divisional Canal Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall furnish Form C to the Canal Officer within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application in Form C to the Canal Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a lift irrigation scheme is undertaken, and the Canal Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Maharashtra.
