GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The bottling of water by bottlers of water under the Bengal Irrigation Act, 1876, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Irrigation Inspector, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bottler of water carrying on the bottling of water shall furnish Form C to the Government of West Bengal within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bottler of water carrying on the bottling of water shall make an application in Form C to the Government of West Bengal within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the bottling of water is undertaken, and the Government of West Bengal shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of West Bengal.
