GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a rice mill in a village by operators of a rice mill in a village under the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall furnish Form 8 to the Block Development Officer within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall make an application in Form 8 to the Block Development Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a rice mill in a village is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
