GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a distillery by distillers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall furnish Form C to the Commissioner within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall make an application in Form C to the Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a distillery is undertaken, and the Commissioner shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
