GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The processing of personal data on behalf of a data fiduciary by data processors under the Kerala Police Act, 2011, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Grievance Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every data processor carrying on the processing of personal data on behalf of a data fiduciary shall furnish Form B to the Controller within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every data processor carrying on the processing of personal data on behalf of a data fiduciary shall make an application in Form B to the Controller within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the processing of personal data on behalf of a data fiduciary is undertaken, and the Controller shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Kerala.
