GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The issue of policies of insurance by insurer issuing policies under the Maharashtra Stamp Act, 1958, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Stamp Auditor, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every insurer issuing policies carrying on the issue of policies of insurance shall furnish Form A to the Collector within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every insurer issuing policies carrying on the issue of policies of insurance shall make an application in Form A to the Collector within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the issue of policies of insurance is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Maharashtra.
