GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The storage of petroleum by persons engaged in the supply of energy under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person engaged in the supply of energy carrying on the storage of petroleum shall furnish Form VI to the Ombudsman within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person engaged in the supply of energy carrying on the storage of petroleum shall make an application in Form VI to the Ombudsman within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of petroleum is undertaken, and the Ombudsman shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat.
