GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of an observation home by observation homes under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Anganwadi Supervisor, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every observation home carrying on the running of an observation home shall furnish Form V to the District Magistrate within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every observation home carrying on the running of an observation home shall make an application in Form V to the District Magistrate within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an observation home is undertaken, and the District Magistrate shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
