GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of a motor transport undertaking by owners of a motor transport undertaking under the Bombay Industrial Relations Act, 1946, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Facilitator, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a motor transport undertaking carrying on the running of a motor transport undertaking shall furnish Form II to the Labour Commissioner within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a motor transport undertaking carrying on the running of a motor transport undertaking shall make an application in Form II to the Labour Commissioner within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a motor transport undertaking is undertaken, and the Labour Commissioner shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
